The company
Our family company has specialized in machine embroidery since it was founded in 1905.
The company is based in Villers Outréaux in the north of France (200 km from Paris), in what has been France's textile heartland for centuries. Machine embroidery is also a permanent fixture in the landscape of this village, where the first "arm" looms were installed in 1888.
In 1905, the first generation of our family became involved in the embroidery business, under our great-great-grandfather Edouard Leveaux.
The DESSENNE-LENOIR company was founded in 1980 when the business was taken over by Christian Dessenne and his wife Marie-Christine, née Lenoir.

Our in-house design department offers various services including research, stitching, planning, and processing a project based on specifications or an idea.

We do everything in-house so we can create every new collection with new designs and different shapes (flowers, geometric patterns, figurative elements, animals, etc.) at affordable prices.

We work with all types of products, from machine embroidery, net curtains and 100% macramé curtains to half-curtains.

We also stock a wide range of sizes for all heights from 10 cm to 3 m, customisable on request.
We are also experts in all types of fabrics and threads: tulle, linen, muslin, taffeta, organza, polyester, viscose, cotton, Lurex, etc.

Our collections
Our designs are original, and we have an extensive collection of 5,000 designs, refreshed by two to three collections of 150 designs per year, not to mention the 15,000 designs archived since the company was founded. These designs can measure anywhere from between 10 cm to 3 m.
